Our mission
Public data should be legible.
Our Elected USA watches authoritative government databases, identifies meaningful changes, and gives readers a direct route back to the source.
What we publish
We build change feeds, dashboards, searchable records, entity pages, and data-driven reporting across the economy, health, industry, energy, spending, regulation, science, education, infrastructure, and the environment.
What makes the work trustworthy
The government record is the factual layer. Provenance, freshness, methodology, source links, and correction history are part of the product—not footnotes added later. AI can help organize and explain verified facts, but it cannot manufacture them or replace editorial review.
Independent and nonpartisan
Our Elected USA is an independent publication and is not affiliated with the U.S. government, a political party, candidate, campaign, or public agency. The aim is practical public understanding: what changed, how large it was, where it happened, and what the underlying record actually says.
How the work is funded
The public data desk is designed to remain freely available. Future advertising or paid professional tools will be kept separate from editorial decisions. Read our advertising policy and editorial standards for the rules that govern that separation.
